The Power Suit Trend — Audaciously Shay

I would love to be one of those fashion bloggers that looks like they’re going to a gala or nightclub on every post, but the reality is your girl got a 9-5. That’s right! I’m sitting at my desk or in meetings for the majority of the week so Fashion Nova’s finest doesn’t suit me on most days. Well, not until recently.

Fun pant suits are trending everywhere from the runway to your favorite affordable retailers and I’m loving it! Finally, I can get a cute suit for work with the same convenience and affordability that I can ordering a party dress. These suits are not your typical department store separates either. They are bright, bold, short, skinny or flare – whatever suits you!

COVID-19 won’t keep us in the house forever and when we get back to business, I’m stepping out in my best suit! I purchased this suit set last summer and it has transitioned nicely to fall and winter. The color is very flattering and I get tons of compliments every time I wear it. The fit is perfection and the stretchy material makes it very comfortable. The first time I wore it was on a work trip to NYC. I hate restrictive fabrics but this set played nicely from the office to lunch to the airport and back to Charlotte.

On your average day I’m rocking career wear so that’s what I want to spend my money on and that’s what I’ll mostly share with you. Check out the fabulous pink power suit that I wore in my previous post about starting this blog. So glad that this is a thing now 😊
